The Live Sound Engineering is a unique course. This course emphasis and prepares graduates for a wide range of creative and professional opportunities in the fields of music recording and production. Through hands-on courses taught on industry-standard equipment by professionally accomplished instructors, students learn to manage the audio production process from the studio to the live stage, including pre-production, recording, editing, and mixing both studio recordings and live musical events.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The Live Sound Engineering is a unique course. This course emphasis and prepares graduates for a wide range of creative and professional opportunities in the fields of music recording and production. Through hands-on courses taught on industry-standard equipment by professionally accomplished instructors, students learn to manage the audio production process from the studio to the live stage, including pre-production, recording, editing, and mixing both studio recordings and live musical events. Concepts and technical skills are presented from a practical perspective with an emphasis on musical and creative applications. Live Sound Engineer requires board knowledge of technical and wide variety of skills both in gospel industries & church PA system setting. Students acquire essential experience in order to be well prepared for work in the church or individual ministry. Student will experience live sound as performer, and listener. This broad approach provides students with opportunities to develop their general interests in live sound. This also provides students with the opportunity to developing skills in live sound mixing performance or in performance with the use of multi tracks. Emphasis is placed on the study of live sound through practical activities which include, active participation in live sound with solo and group performing and accompanying. Listening to music from a wide range of genres, styles and cultures, and creative expression through equalization, microphone, cabling, use of mixer, connection, arranging & good production.

  • Armed with a solid catalogue of competitive material along with a network of music and entertainment professionals to further their career goals.

  • Prepares you for the music industry and what goes beyond school.

  • Music Business subject which allows one to learn the fundamentals of business models in gospel and more.


For duration of study, students will experience music as both performer and listener. This broad approach provides students with opportunities to develop their general interests in music. Emphasis is placed through practical activities which include active participation in solo and group performing and accompanying, listening to wide range of genres, styles and cultures.
