School of Contemporary Music Short Courses program provides you with a broad foundation of musical knowledge, technique and practical experience that prepares you for virtually any style of contemporary and gospel music performance.
COURSE OVERVIEW
Our Short Courses give you the chance to pursue comprehensive performance training which fits around your working life. These courses take place over consecutive days, or run as longer online evening courses, designed to develop a solid grounding in your chosen subject over a short period of time.
We offer a wide range of short courses across music: music theory & musicianship, evening courses in music performance, music production, and music professional development, and as well as spring and summer courses. Whether you’re thinking about learning something completely new, exploring a hobby or passion, or just brushing up on existing skills, we have something for you.
Spring Courses - Intensive Vocals Performance, Keyboard/Piano Performance, Drums Performance, Bass Performance, Rhythm Guitar Performance, Live Sound Engineering & Recording, Music Production in Logic Pro X, and Sibelius training, one-to-one coaching, and diverse repertoire over 5 days
Summer Courses 1 & 2 - Intensive Vocals Performance, Keyboard/ Piano Performance, Drums Performance, Bass Performance, Rhythm Guitar Performance, Live Sound Engineering & Recording, Music Production in Logic Pro X, and Sibelius training, one-to-one coaching, and diverse repertoire over 5 days.
Online Evening Courses - This 6 weeks course covers everything you need to get started as a musician
Music Professional Development - This (3 days) creative course covers everything you need to get started as a Music Director, Worship Leadership, Music Business and Song writing.
